About Our Client:

Our client is a privately funded commodity trading company specializing in the purchase, sale and distribution of Steel Making Raw Materials and Non Ferrous products to a global customer base.

Headquartered in Europe and with satellite operations worldwide, our client provides global coverage with local know-how to ensure the best cultural and strategic fit to our suppliers and customers.

The role is for office management and administrative support in all non-investment-related activities for a team of people. Currently based in their City Offices and soon to be relocating to new offices in Mayfair, London area, to commence as soon as possible.

Responsibilities Include

  • PA for senior members (i.e. diary management, travel booking, expenses etc)
  • Telephone answering / screening
  • Payroll / HR (i.e. using Sage)
  • Report preparation (i.e. liaising with fund / management accountants)
  • Compliance (i.e. ensuring deadlines are met)
  • Investor Relations (i.e. fielding queries from investors in the fund)
  • Basic IT / liaising with outsourced IT provider (i.e. setting up new email accounts, updating website)
  • Minute taking
  • General office management
  • Event planning (i.e. dinners for c.20 guests, occasional events for c.100 guests)


  • Undergraduate degree with 2-3 years of related experience
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse personalities in all levels of management, as well as outside vendors and clients, by maintaining objectivity and demonstrating maturity
  • Dynamic individual used to multi-tasking
  • Used to working in small teams in a fast-moving environment
  • Prior experience of working for an investment fund desirable
  • Strong organisational skills essential
  • Adept at using Microsoft Office and other equivalent packages
  • Prior experience working as a PA for senior team members
  • Prior office management experience
